Zuberec

The Museum of the Orava Village that is present at Zuberec is one of the prime attractions here. This is an open air museum that provides importance to folk architecture and the exhibits found here include the houses that were brought from the regions surrounding Orava as they had been reassembled at Zuberec.

The Gothic wooden church, the oldest building at the museum dates back to the fifteenth century, but the museum had got initiated only during 1967. A functioning watermill and a graveyard can also be spotted here. One can also come across ethnographic collection found in the interiors pertaining to the building.
