Trencin Region

As one among the eight administrative regions found in Slovakia, Trenčín Region is found in the north-western parts of Slovakia. The region unveils several mountainous ranges as that of Little Carpathians found in the south-west, Javorniky in the north, White Carpathians found in the north-west and the Strazovske Vrchy Mountains found in the centre, among the other ranges.

The Trenčín Region is a wealthy as well as a developed part pertaining to Slovakia, as it shares a close proximity with that of Czech Republic. The Trenčín Region is the second most of the heavily industrialized regions of Slovakia, after that of Bratislava. This region comprises of nine districts, and various industries that are spotted here have a long tradition, which includes food processing, textiles and clothing, mining, chemicals and machinery. The Trenčín Region is the third smallest region, as when it comes to area and population.

Visitors can come by many attractions at the Trenčín Region, as the city of Trenčín is a place that unveils many historical delights. Also, the ruins pertaining to the Cachtice Castle and the Beckov Castle along with that of the Bojnice Castle and the Stefanik’s Tomb offer variety for the tourists.
