Rimavské Brezovo (Hungarian: Rimabrézó) is located in the southeastern part of Slovakia, about 18 km north of Rimavská Sobota.
The main place of interest in the village is the 13th century Lutheran church.
Built in the Romanesque-Gothic style, it was significantly rebuilt at the end of the 19th century. Its 14th century wall paintings can still be seen today.
The church features on the Gothic Route, a tourist route introducing the most important Gothic monuments of the region.
