Plejsy ski resort

Plejsy ski resort is situated in the Volvoske Vrchy, and this region is famous for the stable snow conditions, as the 14 downhill runs found here cater to the skiers and snowboarders with varied ski levels. The skiing tradition at Plejsy dates back to the year 1952.  This ski resort of Plejsy that is spotted in the region of Slovensky Raj/Juzny spis unveils the ski season during the period that extends from December to that of April.

The downhill runs here have routes for beginners, routes for skiers falling in the intermediate range and even routes for advanced skiers.

Skiing enthusiasts can find a cableway at the Plejsy ski resort, and there are 8 chair-lifts that get spotted here. The resort has undergone a face-lift in the recent past, as the capacity and comfort offered by the Plejsy has improved by leaps and bounds. This resort also boasts of cross-country skiing tracks that are well maintained and even children find the skiing interesting at the Plejsy ski resort.

Plejsy ski resort also has been homologized by the concerned governing body for giant slalom, slalom and super giant slalom courses. With the tracks at the Plejsy conditioned with that of the artificial snow ensures splendid skiing conditions and the longest track found here extends up to a distance of 2350 meters as it also possesses an elevation of about 42 meters.
