The village of Čičmany hosts the baroque church pertaining to St. Cross and the museum here houses ethnographic exhibitions. During the summer time, hiking along the surrounding Strazovske hills is an enriching experience. The Rajecka Forest which is about 12 kilometers from Čičmany is yet another attraction near this village.
